Porsche - The Race is On

Recent years have seen the evolution of racecars for street use.
This is the total opposite to how it was handled in the 60''s,70''s, 80''s and 90''s. At those times it was strictly "The race is on". No comfort, just fun and speed. One of these automobiles that created this change is the Porsche Carrera GT. Unofficially a racecar, this $440,000 power car is worth every bit its price with the quality of materials used and the way it was put together. The Porsche Carrera GT was introduced as a 2004 model and until 2005 there were already a few changes in order to make the Carrera GT the new Porsche super car. These were minor updates in order to make it a little more street-friendly. B The Carrera GT is easy recognizable, as it’s a low, sleek, lightweight roadster, very beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside. Comfort has surpassed sportyness, nevertheless leaving us with an unrivalled dreamcar. Bu t the racecars of the old days will never be forgotten, but who could forget Le Mans.

Take a look at some of the Porsches in todays newsletter and we are sure you will enjoy it. We are here to provide you with an everyday selection of these fine racecars, and we do not only feature Porsches, even so they are the most popular ones. For all your advertising needs we are here to serve you around the clock.

Porsche 910-6-6 # 026
Model history: The Porsche 910 was a purpose built race car based on the Porsche 906. The main difference to the 906 is the use of 13 inch wheels and tyres as in Formula 1, plus a single central nut instead of the 5 nuts as in a road car. This made the car not suitable for street use, but it saved time during the pit stops. Overall, the 910 was lighter, shorter, quicker and more nimble than the 906. The Porsche 910 was first entered in mid 1966, starting with the hill climb from Sierre to Cr [...]

How Russell Baldwin & Bright became Brightwells after 150 years
In the middle 1980’s Russell Baldwin & Bright (est.1846) sold its estate agency business along with its original name, whilst retaining the remainder of the business (Markets, Fine Arts, Vehicle Auctions etc) under the modified name of Russell Baldwin & Bright Markets. When Russell Baldwin & Bright Markets recently decided to re-enter the property market they were hoping to repurchase the estate agency business from current owners Chancellors. Negotiations proved unfruitful and so the decision was taken to adopt a new name for the whole business. Thus Brightwells was born and sees the reintroduction of a quality residential, agricultural and commercial property sale and lettings operation based at Cathedral Chambers in Hereford with 6 offices around the region. So, for clarification, the existing Russell Baldwin & Bright estate agency remains unconn ected with the historic business, which now trades under the new banner of Brightwells. With its network of long-established and diverse departments, Brightwells prides itself on national and international respect in numerous areas of business. It incorporates the fastest growing Bloodstock Department in the country, a Livestock business extending throughout the Welsh borders, an extensive Agricultural Management and Advisory Service, the largest Four-Wheel Drive Auction in the country, a leading provincial Fine Art Saleroom and finally a new and rapidly developing Financial Services division. Brightwells will continue to provide service to the highest professional standards. The vastly experienced team see themselves as trustees of a long and great tradition that was synonymous with the name of Russell Baldwin & Bright and now continues under the banner of Brightwells.
