Racingdeal.Com - Events, Events, Events
The new 2007 has just started and there are quite a few events in the first quarter of the year, that might catch your attention. Today we just want to list a few. Looking at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale the last couple days we can not really say, that the demand for collectors cars is decreasing. As a matter of fact, Barrett has sold more cars this year than they have sold in 2006, bringing sales to an alltime high. Coys is following in late February with its legendary True Greats Auction in London and the Amelia Island Auction is just around the corner in March. In case you have an event, a club or a ralley, you want to list, please feel free to do so in our service directory. Listing your event or company in our service directory is free of charge. For all your other advertising needs we are here to assist you. So if you are trying to find this special car or if you are trying to sell it, please contact me at massier@racingdeal.com. It is my pleasure to assist you.
Sincerely yours Matthias J. Massier racingdeal.com |

Bremen Classic Motorshow 2. - 4th of February 2007 Bremen Exhibition Centre
Special show: “Bugatti: Le Pur-Sang des Automobiles”
A lot of legends have grown up around Bugatti automobiles. They are milestones of technology and design. For many classic vehicle enthusiasts the T35 is the most beautiful racing car of all times and the T57 an absolute icon of style. But did you know that Ettore Bugatti had a passion for thoroughbred horses? And that this passion is reflected in his automobile inventions? At the Bremen Classic Motorshow a special show will be devoted to “Bugatti: Le Pur-Sang des Automobiles”. On display will be an unusual selection of rare and even unique vehicles, some of them familiar, some of them less well-known. But all of them are the work of the ingenious designer and engineer Ettore Bugatti and his son Jean, who was no less talented. The special show unites exhibits that tell of Bugatti’s experiments and his success: the first Bugatti thoroughbred, the Brescia, an original T35 T, the forward-looking T32 (also called ”Tank“) and the revolutionary chassis of a T53 (all-wheel). Also on display: the exclusive T41 Royale Esers and a unique Bébé, a perfect T55 GP Roadster, the extravagant Aerolithe reconstruction and the prototype T64, which Jean Bugatti drove himself. The valuable exhibits come from the Musée National de l´Automobile (Schlumpf Collection) in Mulhouse/France or are on loan from private collectors in Great Britain and Germany.
