INTRO
	Lamborghini - The Return of a Fascinating Brand When Ferruchio Lamborghini left after a dispute with Enzo Ferrari in 1962 the future seemed to be very uncertain. But nobody was able to stop him from building his own cars, competing with the godfather of sportscars. Therefore the project, that he persued, was very ambitious, but he had the right ingredients; the right designers, technicians and a dedicated staff, that followed him, believing in the start of the era of a new supercar. It took him only 2 years to reach this goal and to get back into magazines with the premiere of the new Lamborghini 350 GT, shown at the Salon in Geneva in 1964. The Miura followed in 1967 and is today one of the most sought after historic sportscars of the present. Quite a few models followed and a few changes in ownership occurred until VW took over in order to produce a very reliable sportscar for the discriminating buyer with the attempt to compete with the Ferraris of today. Nobody thought this would be a good match combining a mass producer with a sophisticated italian sportscar-manufacturer, but Lamborghini is back, and stronger than ever, with a high demand for their historic one of a kind automobiles as well as for their present Gallardos and Murcielagos alike.
