	Prewar Automobiles - A Celebration of Veteran Cars The real veteran cars represented the very dawn of motoring, from the middle of the nineteenth century up to the beginning of the 20th century. At the start of the 1880´s there were just a few primitive horseless carriages, whose optimistic inventors were happy, if they moved at all, but by the end of the verteran period the automobile had become a viable means of transportation. In deed, the prewar supercars of those days were capable of running 100 miles an hour and very soon, not even 2 decades later, racecars were seen competing around the world. Looking at the comfort of the automobiles of those days, we have to admit, that they were more geared to satisfy a mans desire for speed than for anything else. When you look at some of the prewar automobiles featured on racingdeal.com everyday, you still feel the automotive fascination lasting till today. Design and style made the difference during the old days, nearly forgotten in the mass production of today. The craftsmanship of the old days is gone and was substituted through practical design.Lucky us, that some of these fascinating automobiles from the past survived the war.
