INTRO
	100 Years of Grand Prix Racing On the 26th of June 1906 the first Grand Prix of motorsport history was started in Le Mans. 34 race cars belonged to the first Grand Prix des Automobile Club de France. The race lasted for 2 days, a distance of 1240 kilometers and a total of 12 hours.It nevertheless took 20 more years until the first Grand Prix was started in Germany. On the 11th of July 1926 Rudolf Caracciola won together with his racemate Eugen Salzer the first german Grand Prix in a Mercedes. Well, enough of the past. Today the Goodwood Festival and Le Mans are happening on the same weekend. A difficult decision where to attend.With the Silverstone Classic for historic racing coming up at the end of July and the german Grand Prix at the Nuerburgring following, who would complain about too many events, in case you are into historic racing.
