1953 MGTD MK2

This is one of only about 1700 MGTD Mark 2s. The car is very original and solid. It has been restored in the 1970’s and still shows quite presentable. The paint does have some spider-webbing and a few cracks, but gives the car a charming presence with good old English patina.

This car is mechanically in very nice shape and could be taken out on Touring events or Rally’s without further due.

Comes with a full Soft top and side curtains in great shape.

No corrosion issues on the body or frame and it appears to be accident free. The interior has been refinished in red contrasting the old English white exterior beautifully.

Dashboard is a gem with all original and working instruments except a non-working clock.

This car also has the very rare heater option.

1953 MGTD MK2

Einer von nur rund 1700 gebauten MK2 in sehr solidem, originalem Zustand. Der Wagen wurde in den 70er Jahren restauriert und ist nach wie vor sehr präsentabel. Der Lack zeigt wohl einige Risse und “Kampfspuren”, gibt dem Auto aber eine charmante Patina und hat noch akzeptablen Glanz.

Technisch ist das Fahrzeug sehr gut, der Motor läuft kräftig und rund und die Schaltung ist exakt. Somit ist dies der optimale “Driver MG” für klassische Veranstaltungen und Touren.

Das Auto hat ein sehr gut erhaltenes Softtop inclusive “side curtains” und einer Persenning. Dieser MG verfügt über eine seltene, werksverbaute Heizung.
Die Innenausstattung in rot gibt dem Auto die klassische Farbkombination und ist sehr gut erhalten. Das Armaturenbrett ist ein Juwel mit allen Instrumenten ausser der Uhr voll funktionstüchtig.
