1986 ALBA / Buick GTP (AR8-001) built for Jim Mullen and delivered in May 1987. ONLY ONE BUILT FOR THAT YEAR.

Equipped with a Twin Turbo Buick V6 engine mated to HEWLAND VGC 5-speed gearbox.

It was campaigned in 1987 by Kalagian Racing in the IMSA Camel GT Series under GTP class and driven by Kenper Miller, Calvin Fish, Steve Alexander and Rob Stevens.

Purchased by current owner in 1991, raced primarily in HSR GTP class. Went thru complete restoration in 2002/03, brought back to its 1987 IMSA PUMA livery the way it was raced originally. Since complete restoration it has only had testing time and two races (Daytona and Road America) between 2003/04.
Presented in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically this fully race-prepared Alba/Buick AR8 is ready to compete in the prestigious historic Group C/GTP racing series.
